There is just one word to describe Alaska—BIG. I could not believe the scope and the scale of the landscape. We spent the first week on a small boat(60 passengers) in the Inward Passage. Great scenery and hiking on Wilderness Discovery by Un-Cruise Adventures. Then driving out of Anchorage and finally 3 days at North Face Lodge, the only lodges inside the park. One hundred and eight miles in a bus on a dirt road gets you the where this first images was taken and a mile or two before the lodge. The mountain was shrouded in clouds for the first two days and finally came out the last evening in order to capture my favorite image of the trip.
