English gothic cathedrals are to me not unlike the slot canyons of the desert southwest of the United States. This project, which extended over a number of years, was inspired by an important photographic mentor, Bruce Barnbaum. Awe inspiring and monumental, the cathedrals represent an amazing tribute to the persistence and tenacity of the human spirit.
